90 batches of water meter product quality inspection results announced 4 batches failed

[China Instrument Network Instrument Industry] Recently, the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced the results of the national supervision and spot check of the second batch of water meter products in 2018. A total of four batches of products did not meet the standards.

The national quality supervision and inspection of water meter product quality sampled a total of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Shaanxi. 90 batches of water meter products produced by 90 companies in 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities such as Ningxia.

The spot check is based on GB/T 778.1-2007 "Drinking cold water meter and hot water meter in the measurement of water flow in closed full pipes: Part 1: Specifications" and GB/T 778.3-2007 "Measuring drinking water in closed full pipes. Water meters and hot water meters - Part 3: Test methods and test equipment ", CJ/T 133-2012 "IC card cold water meter" and other standards, indication error, pressure loss, water control functions for water meter products (applicable to IC card water meter, electromechanical conversion error (applicable to IC card water meter), static magnetic field (applicable to IC card water meter), static pressure and other six items were tested.

Spot checks found that four batches of products did not meet the requirements of the standard, involving pressure loss, static pressure test items.
