Last year, the company sold 99.81 million tons of chemical fertilizers. The strong demand and rising prices helped the company tide over the difficulties. Industry analysts speculate that, on the one hand, global supply of phosphate fertilizers will continue to increase, and profits will decline. On the other hand, due to inflation and increasing demand for food, demand for fertilizers is also increasing in volume and price. The complex situation will plague Anglo American. The plan, perhaps transferring the shares held to banks to get cash is the best strategy.
