On the lathe, the inner hole with a length of 5000-6000mm and a diameter of 230-350mm is polished. The surface roughness is required to be less than Ra1.6mm, and the material is 1Cr18Ni9Ti seamless steel pipe. As the hole of the blank is not round, the tooling as shown in the figure is designed and manufactured. In a short time, the inner hole is polished on the lathe to meet the requirements.
The support sleeve 1 and the support sleeve 2 are machined using seamless steel pipe welded flanges. The reason for adopting two cuts is that it is convenient to install a bearing in the inner hole to support the drive shaft 1 and the drive shaft 2 to prevent the shaft with a length of more than 3,000 mm from swinging at a high speed. Driveshaft 1 and driveshaft 2 are also machined from seamless steel tube welded shaft heads, which are light, material-saving, and not easily bent under high-speed rotation. The driveshaft is connected to the driveshaft and the motor and is two single-key sets. The power of the motor is 1.5kw and the rotation speed is 940r/min, so that the speed of the emery wheel can reach about 10m/s. The grain size of the page wheel abrasive is 36# to 46#. This set of fixtures is fixed by the bracket, and can be adjusted to the length of its extension, and then fixed on the lathe square knife, and then the power supply can be polished on the workpiece hole.
When polishing, one end of the workpiece is clamped on the chuck of the lathe and the other end is supported by the center
Frame. The workpiece rotation speed is n=10-20 r/min, and the longitudinal feed rate is f=0.5-1 mm/r. Move the middle plate to press the page wheel against the surface of the inner hole of the workpiece, and the front and back passes are polished. Because the workpiece is long, the arm of the polishing device is short. After polishing one half of the inner hole of the workpiece, the workpiece is turned around and the other half of the inner hole is polished.
The length of the long arm of the tooling can reach 3000mm. Due to the bearing support, there is substantially no vibration when adjusting the rotation after the power is turned on. Because the polishing wheel is soft and flexible, it works smoothly. The above-mentioned size and required inner hole surface can be reached in about two shifts, and the operation is very safe and convenient.
