The battery electrolyte should be 10-15 mm above the plate. If the liquid level is too low, the plate will be damaged early. For inspection, a transparent glass tube or plastic tube with an inner diameter of 3-5 mm can be used to vertically extend from the liquid supply hole to the battery plate, and then the tube is pulled out by blocking the upper port of the tube with a finger. The height of the liquid level in the measuring tube should be 10-15 mm. If the liquid level is not high enough, it should be distinguished from the liquid level caused by water evaporation or electrolyte leakage. If the water is evaporated, steaming water should be added; otherwise, the electrolyte should be added. The two should not be confused to avoid battery damage due to changes in electrolyte concentration.
